When to List your Item

I found that 7 days auctions are the best, it gives just enough time for enough people to notice your item and possibly bid on it. If you are selling an expensive object - 10 days auction might work better - more people will see it, don’t forget that a 10 days auction will cost more then a regular 7 days auction (ebay fees).
So the best time for your item to be sold is on a Sunday evening. Let’s say 7-10pm, that’s when most ebauyers are online. Students are done with their homework, adults are back home from a week-end trip at their parents…
Friday evening and Saturday evening most people go out, so they won’t be on ebay.
During daytime, most people are at work or school and usually don’t have access to ebay. It all happens on SUNDAY.
Take note that North America has several time zones, so an auction ending at 10pm in Cali means passed midnight in NY.
Your auction should end on a Sunday 7pm-10pm - however, that works best for me.
